Description:
The Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion (OAG) and Arts Court Redevelopment is comprised of a new, museum standard Gallery space and renovated spaces within the old Arts Court building. Located downtown in the heart of the retail, arts and theatre district, this project made use of vacant land to expand the OAG and arts court. The building is comprised of ample gallery space, along with a 225-seat main stage theatre and a 125 seat black box studio.
MCLD provided architectural lighting design for all lobbies and ancillary spaces. MCLD also provided design and specification of all elements in both theatre spaces, including specification of a full inventory of new LED and automated performance lighting instruments.
